You don’t have to wear pinstripes to live in Plumstead. It is an inclusive community. A place that I am proud to be part of.
What I have contributed to make where I live a better place is: 20 years ago when I moved here my (narrow) road was two way; graffiti was also a problem. I formed a residents association. My child and I would go “on the campaign trail”. Through our local MP and helpful Greenwich staff we achieved our goal.
I know most of my neighbours by sight but we have never had coffee together. However we look out for each other. When my elderly neighbour no longer was independent good people were there to rally around.
Neighbours and promoting community is what is important – that is why I am standing as an independent Plumstead Party Candidate
